Assist with the co-ordination and management of the internal logistics process, including finished goods dispatch, raw material receipt and inventory management.

Reporting to: Head of Operations
Responsible to: Directors

General Duties

• Safe operation of mechanical equipment including forklifts, power pallet trucks and shunter vehicle
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth and timely flow of materials and finished goods
• Maintaining optimal stock levels of raw materials on site and continuous monitoring of re-order points
• Put-away of incoming raw materials in a timely and efficient manner
• Conduct pre-loading safety and hygiene checks of transport vehicles and communicate areas for concern to Senior Management
• Participate in inventory control & stock counts as required
• Accurate completion of operational records in support of the food safety & traceability system
• Communicate internally any issues or queries with deliveries of stock
• Identify & report any damages, accidents or quality deficiencies
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene & cleanliness in the dispatch areas
• Strict compliance to all Health & Safety directives
• Cover for colleagues absence as and when necessary

Eligibility Criteria

Essential

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift & PPT Licence
• Full Drivers Licence
• 2 Years’ experience in a fast-paced warehouse/logistics environment
• Strong understanding of stock management processes
• Team player

Desirable

• Shunter Experience
• Experience in a food production environment
